Jamaica Aali, founder of Little Black Spaces, appeared on the Netflix original series Bake Squad as a guest judge for a special celebration rooted in community, friendship, and care.
On the show, Jamaica helped celebrate a longtime volunteer from the community she founded in 2012. What began as a small book club grew into a national and international network of Black gatherings, wellness events, service projects, and travel experiences.
Bake Squad features Christina Tosi, CEO of Milk Bar, and a team of professional bakers who create elaborate desserts for meaningful celebrations. In Jamaica’s episode, the bakers prepared a dessert honoring 10 years of the community’s work.
